Self-exclusion Policy

Time-Out

Time-Out enables a short-term disengagement from Marsbahis products. Once activated, the account is blocked from depositing, withdrawing, playing, or accessing any Marsbahis services for the selected period. The available Time-Out durations are displayed in the user’s Account Profile under the Time-Out section. Revocation of a Time-Out is only permissible after 24 hours have elapsed from the initial Time-Out request. Upon the Time-Out’s expiry, the account automatically reactivates and normal activity resumes unless another action is taken.

Self-Exclusion

Self-Exclusion provides a longer pause from all Marsbahis activities. To initiate, the user must send an electronic notice to Marsbahis indicating the decision to pause activity on the site. Upon receipt, the account enters a 24-hour cooling-off period during which no gambling activity is allowed and the account is effectively closed to gameplay. After the cooling-off period, Marsbahis will inform the user of the available self-exclusion periods; these periods are pre-selected and cannot be varied. An electronic reply from the user is required to proceed. If no response is received within a further 24 hours, the account will be reopened and confirmed by electronic communication. During the Self-Exclusion period, deposits and withdrawals are disabled for the duration of the period and the account remains closed. Upon expiry, the account is automatically re-activated.

Implementation and Fixed Periods

There are predetermined self-exclusion timeframes offered by Marsbahis; customers may not request alternative durations beyond the available options. Marsbahis will provide information on the applicable exclusion periods after the initial cooling-off step and will enforce the chosen period without deviation. Marsbahis will use reasonable efforts to ensure the exclusion is effective and to prevent promotional materials from reaching customers who have self-excluded.

Financial Protection of Players and Personal Limits

When setting up an account, or at any subsequent time, customers may impose personal limits through the My Account settings. If a customer exceeds any imposed limit, further actions related to that limit may be restricted. Any request to revoke a limit or an exclusion must be made by written or electronic notice; Marsbahis will consider such requests but retains absolute discretion to deny them. The Company will monitor adherence to Self-Exclusion procedures and will endeavour to ensure that promotional material is not sent to self-excluded customers. The customer acknowledges that Marsbahis bears no responsibility for continued play through additional accounts or altered registration details, including cases where registration information is submitted with variations. If a customer discovers a way to continue playing during an exclusion period, they should seek urgent professional assistance. For guidance on gambling-related issues, customers should consult national gambling support services or helplines available in their jurisdiction.
